Jeera Rice


Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Basmati rice, cooked
  • 2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 1" Cinnamon stick
  • 5 cloves
  • 4 green chillies
  • 1 Green Cardamom
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tbsp broken cashews
  • 2 tbsp oil

Method:

  • Heat oil in a pan and add bay leaf, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon stick and fry for a minute.
  • Add green chillies, cumin seeds, broken cashew and fry till cashews turn golden brown.
  • Add the rice, salt and mix well.
  • Serve hot.
