Ingredients:
- 1 lb Bhindi, sliced
- 2 Onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1" Ginger, grated
- 3 Green chillies, chopped
- 1 tsp Garam masala
- 1/2 cup Yogurt, beaten
- 2 tbsp Oil
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp Kalonji/nigella seeds (optional)
Method:
- Heat the oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds, when they start to crackle add the onions, turmeric powder, ginger paste and green chillies and fry till the onions are tender.
- Add the bhindi and fry on medium heat till the bhindi is tender.
- Add garam masala, salt and mix well.
- Add the beaten yogurt and cook till the curds dry.
- Remove and serve hot.
