Onion Dosa


Ingredients:

  • 2 Cups Rice
  • 1 Cup Urad dal
  • 1/2 cup Poha
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 1" ginger, grated
  • 4 Green chillies, finely chopped
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  • Soak rice, dal, poha in water for 8-10 hrs.Grind this to a smooth batter.
  • Leave it to ferment for 6-8 hrs.
  • Mix salt, grated ginger, chopped onions to the batter.
  • Heat tava & pour some batter & spread dosa.
  • Sprinkle (1tsp)some oil on the corner of the dosa
  • Cover it with a lid & let it cook on low flame for 2 minutes.
  • Turn the dosa & cook on the other side for a minute & serve hot with chutney.
